Hi there! Welcome to my portfolio blog. My name is Yoon jung Hong, and I am an UI/UX designer and marketing strategist. I have more than ten years of experience in web and mobile product development, crafting unique user experiences that bridge design, technology, and business strategy and delivering innovative solutions to wide variety of organizations. Currently, as a marketing strategist at MotionPoint, I am supporting large eCommerce clients to win in the global marketplace by providing market research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and website optimization recommendations.

In Korea, I ran my own creative agency, Dei Communication, specializing in website and mobile application development, UI/UX design, and online marketing, supported many small-to-medium sized companies to realize their business goals. During the time, our team won two grand prizes in Web Award Korea for website development projects with Asiana Airline and WiniaMando, and a silver prize in Incheon International Design Fair for corporate identity design with Cosit. Prior to that, I led the design team at Mousetrap, an IT consulting company, where my clients included Samsung, Hyundai, Hanwha, Hanjin, SKT, and Toshiba. I have also worked as an UI/UX designer and researcher at web agency, SAC, and at LG Electronics Design Center.

I hold an MBA from University of Michigan, where I catalyzed my perspectives on strategy and entrepreneurship and enhanced problem solving and analytical skills through strategy consulting projects with Bain & Co. and Microsoft. I also studied industrial design at KAIST focusing on computer graphics and design management.
